Alcoa of Australia Ltd operates one of the world’s largest integrated bauxite mining, alumina refining and aluminium smelting system and supports approximately 4,275 direct jobs, predominantly in regional Australia. Our operations consist of two bauxite mines, three alumina refineries and two dedicated port facilities in Western Australia and Portland Aluminium smelter in Victoria. Alcoa is proud of its 56 year history in Australia, its acclaimed environmental practices and the economic, employment and community benefits it brings to the communities in which it operates.
