Alcoa acknowledges conclusion of public comment period on WA environmental assessments

The Environmental Protection Authority’s (EPA) public comment period for Alcoa’s two environmental assessments has concluded.

Stakeholder engagement has, and will continue to be, a fundamental part of Alcoa’s core operating principles. We have appreciated the level of interest and community participation in the important process of public consultation and comment. Community participation strengthens the assessment process and we look forward to receiving a summary of the comments from the EPA.

Alcoa respects that we operate in areas of high value to the community and commits to undertaking a comprehensive review of the feedback. We will prepare responses in a thorough and timely manner.
