Alcoa recruiting university graduates

Alcoa of Australia is recruiting motivated, top university graduates with curious minds looking for a head start in their careers.

Each year Alcoa recruits graduates from a wide range of disciplines. For the 2019 program Alcoa is specifically seeking graduates, or those students with up to six months left of their studies, to work in the following areas: environment; health and safety; human resources; mine engineering; chemical engineering; mechanical engineering and procurement.

The three-week campaign launches on 19 March with applications closing in early April.

Those selected for the highly sought after three-year program will work at Alcoa’s Western Australian bauxite mining or alumina refining operations alongside some of the world’s most experienced professionals. They will earn a competitive salary and use their degree to make a difference in a progressive, global business.

Alcoa has a proud history in Western Australia, which it hopes to continue by remaining internationally competitive, attracting ongoing investment and providing jobs for future growth. Alcoa has contributed economically and socially to the fabric of Western Australian society for more than 50 years, and employs more than 3,750 people, many of whom live regionally in the communities where it operates.

Alcoa was recently named as an Employer of Choice for Gender Equality for the 16th consecutive year by the Federal Government’s Workplace Gender Equality Agency, and has a commitment to achieving a greater female participation in its workforce.
