Alcoa Foundation awards three tertiary scholarships
The Alcoa Foundation has awarded three West Australian high school students each with a US$4,000 scholarship to support their tertiary education in 2017.
The competitive Alcoa Foundation Sons and Daughters Scholarship Program rewards students who are children of Alcoa employees that demonstrate excellence in leadership, academic achievement, volunteerism and community service.
The three West Australian recipients were among hundreds of high school students globally who applied for the sought-after scholarships. They intend to study at leading Australian universities in the fields of Environmental Science, Civil Engineering and Biomedical and Veterinarian Sciences.
