Alcoa Foundation Announces Grant to Easterseals Rehabilitation Center

Alcoa Foundation is awarding a grant to Easterseals Rehabilitation Center (ESRC) to support integrated services at its Neurodevelopment Center. The grant will help provide physical, occupational and speech therapy, audiology, and psychological care for clients who rely on the facility. These services are available to individuals dually diagnosed with mental health conditions and developmental disabilities.
“Support from Alcoa Foundation will play a crucial role in continuing to provide these life-changing services for children and families who couldn’t otherwise afford them,” said Kelly Scheider, Easterseals Rehabilitation Center President and CEO.
“Easterseals Rehabilitation Center is an asset for thousands of clients across the southwestern Indiana region, and this Alcoa Foundation grant provides support for Neurodevelopment Center services regardless of clients’ financial means,” said Shannon Frazer, Alcoa Foundation representative for Alcoa Warrick Operations.
The project aligns with Alcoa Foundation’s Community Resilience key focus area. In 2024, Alcoa Corporation and Alcoa Foundation together donated more than $200,000 in grants, sponsorships and charitable contributions to community initiatives across southwestern Indiana focused on advancing sustainable social, environmental, and economic outcomes.
