Our Western Australian employee run volunteer charitable trust, Personnel Employed at Alcoa Charity Help (PEACH) has received $30,000 from AWA Alliance Bank to support its work funding local non-profit organisations.

Since June 2018 the partnership between PEACH and AWA Alliance Bank has given a remarkable total of $105,000 to a range of charitable organisations for clinical research; hospital services and medical equipment; health support services and facilities for the sick, frail and disabled; welfare support services for family and single parent support groups; young people at risk; people who are socially and financially disadvantaged and safety and emergency services.

AWA Alliance Bank Mandurah Branch Manager Nola Edwards said the close working relationship with PEACH gave the bank the opportunity to disperse funds to those charities where it is most needed.

“We work side by side with the PEACH Administrators to assess applications and hear about the charitable work being done at a grass roots level here in the Peel region,” Ms Edwards said.

PEACH has donated more than $4.1 million to WA charities to date over 40 years.
