Alcoa Health Fair

April 25, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
April 26, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Massena Community Center
61 Beach Street

For the first time ever the annual Alcoa Health Fair will be open to the community, with exhibits, give-aways, free testing, a blood drive and many other activities at the Massena Community Center. The Fair is free and there will be chances to win great door prizes! In honor of Earth Day and as part of Alcoa's 10 Million Trees program, free tree seedlings will also be given out both days.

Over two dozen health care organizations will have displays and some will be offering free blood pressure, glucose and cholesterol checks. You can also donate blood at the Fair and women who haven't had their annual mammogram can schedule one with the North Country Mobile Mammography unit, which will be at the Health Fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on April 25. Mammogram appointments must be scheduled ahead of time by calling 261-5935 and a doctor's order is needed.

A variety of health care professionals will be giving presentations on a range of topics. Two presentations will be going on at the same time in separate rooms at the Community Center.
