Alcoa Foundation grant helps complete Senior Citizens Center

The Calhoun County Senior Citizens Association, Inc. recently received a $15,000 Alcoa Foundation grant to help complete the new senior citizens facility on Austin Street in Port Lavaca. The grant brings Alcoa Foundation's total support for the project to $135,000 over the past six years. Alcoa Foundation contributed $50,000 to help construct the "Outpost" Resale Shop and $50,000 toward construction of the new center.
