End-Use Seminar at Lancaster
Alcoa Mill Products in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA hosted the annual Metal Service Center Institute (MSCI) Aluminum Application End-Use Seminar providing the plant with the opportunity to build customer relations with 55 attendees representing 20 companies. The seminar included presentations by Alcoans on topics such as common alloy sheet and plate, cast plate, metallurgy, and end-use flat rolled applications. As part of the seminar, the attendees toured the plant. The purpose of the seminar was to elevate the product knowledge and the understanding of end-use applications of aluminum throughout manufacturing. Attendees included employees from Alliance Metals, Alro Metals Service Center, Anderson Metals, Basic Metals, Charleston Aluminum, Copper & Brass, E-J Enterprises, Integris, Klein Steel Service, Lynch Metals, Macsteel Service Centers, Metalwest, O'Neal Steel, Phoenix Metals Company, Ryerson Tull, Wisconisn Metal Sales, Southern Aluminum Finishing Co., and Yarde Metals.
