Additional protection for an even longer service
life
Alcoa Dura-Flange® wheels have a patented treatment that provides a protective shield to prevent rim flange wear.
Alcoa Dura-Flange® wheels are the only wheels on the market that are protected from this type of wear, giving them at least double the life time of other aluminium wheels under the same conditions.
Road test results: we put Dura-Flange® wheels to the test and found that after 240.000 km, there were no signs of rim flange wear.
This treatment makes Dura-Flange® wheels most appropriate for transport where loads are heavy and prone to shifting, causing the tire bead to rub against the wheel flange.

Due to the Dura-Flange® treatment process, the wheels may experience some slight discoloration on the tyre side of the rim. No special maintenance is required for Dura-Flange® wheels.

Look for this sticker on the wheel and a “DF” suffix on
the part number. These guarantee that the wheel has been Dura-Flange®
treated.
