In Brazil, the Student Conservation Association (SCA) is training tomorrow's conservation leaders today as part of Alcoa Foundation's International Conservation Leadership Initiative. Working with the SCA, college-age men and women from Brazil and Mexico spend 12 weeks on duty in U.S. natural areas learning skills important to conservation and park service. Following the internships, they return home to help preserve their own nation's natural treasures.
