Environmental assessments open for public comment
The 12-week public comment period is open for our two environmental assessments with the Environmental Protection Authority (EPA). The assessments relate to our 2020 proactive referral of the proposal to transition the Huntly Bauxite Mine to new areas and increase alumina production at the Pinjarra refinery by five per cent, and to parts of our previous and current mining operations that are being assessed to determine the environmental acceptability of these operations. Read more here about how you can book a free guided tour of our operations, visit a pop-up office or make a submission to the EPA.
