The Yadkin Project is comprised of four hydroelectric stations, dams and reservoirs along a 38-mile stretch of the Yadkin River in central North Carolina.  The four reservoirs are High Rock, Tuckertown, Narrows (Badin Lake) and Falls. 
 
The operation of the Yadkin Project is guided by a license issued by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC).  Alcoa is currently seeking a new long-term license.  Read more on the relicensing process.
