Wetlands, Wildlife and Botanical
The Wetlands, Wildlife, and Botanical IAG is concerned with the effects of reservoir operations/fluctuations and the presence of transmission lines on wetlands and riparian habitats. There are also rare, threatened, and endangered (RTE) species at the Yadkin Project, such as the Bald Eagle, that have the potential to be affected by Project operations. In addition to a RTE species inventory, the IAG will consider the current status of migratory birds at the Project. Another issue being addressed by this IAG is the potential impact of aquatic and terrestrial Invasive Exotic Pest Plants at the Yadkin Project.
