12th Annual Komen Knoxville Race for the Cure
Alcoa's Life! Committee will again sponsor participation in the 12th Annual Komen Knoxville Race for the Cure by paying the registration fee for you and your immediate family members. Team members can be active and retired employees and full time contractors.
The race is on Saturday, October 11, 2008 at the World's Fair Park in downtown Knoxville at the Clinch Avenue viaduct bridge. Timed runners should be at the start line no later than 8:15 a.m.. The 5K run/walk will start at 8:30 a.m. The Family Fun run/walk will start at 9am.
You must join the team prior to September 22 to get your free t-shirt. To register, visit the Life! portal page, or www.komenknoxville.org. Once you login, please select Corporate Pay Registration and enter the code "cpalcoa2008." Select "Join an Existing Team" and then select the Alcoa Team.

Broadway at the Tennessee
The Life! Committee has once again arranged discount tickets to some of the best theatrical shows in Knoxville. This year, Broadway in Knoxville becomes Broadway at the Tennessee.
The Historic Tennessee Theatre's restoration will finally be complete when Broadway at the Tennessee launches this fall. Tickets are now available at a 10% discount rate for the showing of Chicago, on October 7, 8 and 9. These tickets are not available to the public until August 15, so get your tickets fast.
