Since 1913, Alcoa's Tennessee Operations has produced thousands of different products for the construction, aerospace, military, industrial and consumer markets. During that time, Tennessee Operations has evolved into one of the most modern aluminum fabricating facilities in the world.

 

Today, Tennessee Operations is dedicated to the production of high quality aluminum sheet for the automotive and packaging markets and is a recognized world leader in the business. Known as one the most modern aluminum fabricating facilities in the world, Tennessee Operations is part of Alcoa's Global Rolled Products business.

 

Tennessee Operations has grown from a producer of primary aluminum to a recognized world leader in the manufacture of high quality aluminum sheet. From East Tennessee, Alcoa produces and delivers aluminum can sheet that ends up on store shelves across America and all around the world. Yet, even while competing worldwide, Alcoa continues to keep strong roots in the community, where its more than 1,000 employees live and work.

Employees raise close to $4 million for local partners

Here in East Tennessee, more than 430 Alcoa employees volunteered with 49 organizations and raised nearly $170,000 for area non-profit organizations during the first half of 2016. more
