Product Manager - Industrial Products Assigned Ground Transportation Russia (GTR)
Responsibilities:
- Participation in Alcoa Growth process Strategy with internal & external resources and application methodology in Russia to capture intelligence, opportunity in order to drive GTR strategy
- Management of budget, resources across key market segments in short and long term business plans
- Development and execution of RGT marketing plan to create increased awareness for Alcoa RGT Value Proposition
- Liaison with BU and MST to coordinate support for pending proposals or identify differentiated new-to-market solutions
- Interfacing strategically with MST Mgmt. and BU Sales Mgmt.
- Working cross functionally with key contacts within materials supply chain to manage product availability and scheduling needs of existing customers
- Development of training tools, selling stories, and customer plans to marshal Key Account Managers against current focus initiatives
- Assistance to market Key Account Managers in identifying client-specific solutions, and obtaining new customers
- Analyzing global market influences including global market growth projections, competitor capabilities/capacities and competitive material threats
- Identification and leading the commercialization of new products/process technologies that overcome aluminium commercial and technical barriers (conversion of competitive materials to aluminum)
- Recommendation of specific R&D projects that are linked to the Alcoa Russia business plan, the key customer needs and technical barriers.
- Providing program direction to the assigned ATC or BU Business Engineering project leaders and oversee to ensure that the project deliverables are achieved on time and within budget.
- Providing recommendations with regards to the technical resources required to achieve the objectives and ensure that the technical support package provided is aligned with the profitability objectives of the B.U. (ensure there is an appropriate business case A3).
- Searching/identification and recommendation of new aluminum product applications and business opportunities for Transportation market segments that capitalize on the differentiated products and service capabilities of Alcoa Russia from Belaya Kalitva and Samara and if necessary other facilities within the Alcoa Global Network
Requirements:
- Degree in Marketing, Business or related field.
- Min 3 years Product management experience in Automotive or Commercial Transportation sectors
- highly developed interpersonal and analytical skills;
- ability to influence others,
- ability to establish and maintain positive customer relationships
- fluently spoken and written English
- Proficiency in use of PC and software
