OAO “Samara Metallurgical Plant” is Renamed to ZAO “Alcoa SMZ”

Alcoa Russia announces change of legal name of one of its entities. Since July 29, 2009, OAO “Samara Metallurgical Plant” is officially named ZAO “Alcoa SMZ”.
The change of legal status of the entity reflects shareholder structure of OAO “Samara Metallurgical Plant” and targets to increase effectiveness of corporate management. The change is made according to Federal Law issued on of December 26, 1995, #208-FZ “Joint Stock Companies”.
