Belaya Kalitva Plant Participates in Opening of Museum Hall

February 5, 2009 – Belaya Kalitva Regional History Museum opened a new hall dedicated to the history of Belaya Kalitva Metallurgical Plant, now named Alcoa Metallurg Rus. In 2009 the plant will celebrate its 55 anniversary.
In order to create the hall Alcoa Metallurg Rus partnered with the municipal culture organization Belaya Kalitva Regional History Museum and Rostov regional community organization Don Archaeological Society. The cost of the hall reconstruction amounted 249,000 rubles.
The exhibit of the hall reflects the history and the modern state of the Belaya Kalitva plant. While creating the exhibit museum specialists used pictures, facts and information that was collected by plant employees in the 70-80s for the plant museum, as well as modern products of the plant.
