Alcoa Russia was named Best Russian Exporter-2011

Alcoa Russia was named winner of the competition Best Russian Exporter in 2011 in the category “The Most Dynamically Developing Russian Exporter – Non-ferrous Metals Industry (Non-ferrous metal products)”.

The competition is held annually by the Department of External Economic Affairs that is part of the Department’s mission to provide state support to exporting industrial products. The goal of the competition is to support, facilitate and stimulate the export of domestic industrial products.

The winners-2011were named in 28 major industries in the following categories: Best Russian Exporter in an industry, Best Russian Exporter in an industry to CIS countries, and the Most Dynamically Developing Russian Exporter in an industry.

The Department of External Economic Affairs selected the participants of the competition by their applications using a special calculation method based on the data from consolidated export reports of an organization.

The awards ceremony took place in Moscow on July 5th. Alcoa Russia was represented by Ilya Vishnevskiy, Commercial Director, Alcoa Russia. The winners received their prizes from Georgy Kalmanov, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.
