Andrey Donets appointed President of Alcoa Russia

Andrey Donets has joined today Alcoa Russia as President. In this role, Mr. Donets will be responsible for and lead all Alcoa operations in Russia, including production, commercial, human resources, finance, legal, corporate, government relations and development functions for all Alcoa operations in Russia. He will also oversee and direct the work of Alcoa Russia’s Moscow office where he will be located. Prior to joining Alcoa, Andrey worked as General Director of Rexam Russia, the Russian arm of the leading global packaging producer. Andrey has more than 10 years of experience working in the Russian metals sector. In 1998, he joined Rostar as Director for Marketing and Sales. In 2000, he became Commercial Director of the Rostar plant. In 2004, he assumed the position of Deputy General Director for Packaging for Rusal and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Rusal Dmitrov. Originally a doctor by training, Andrey also holds an MBA degree from The Academy of National Economy under the Government of the Russian Federation.
