Oleg Kalinskiy was born in Pyatigorsk, Stavropol Region, on July 9, 1977.

1998 - graduated from Hastings College, USA, 2000 - from Pyatigorsk State Linguistic University, 2003 - from Moscow State Institute of Steel and Alloys (Technological University).  2006 graduated from the Russian Academy of Civil Service under President of the Russian Federation with the JD Degree. He also holds a Ph.D. in International Economics.  Currently, Oleg is conducting post doctorate research and is an Associate Professor in the Economics and Management Department in the Moscow State Institute of Steel and Alloys (Technological University).

From 1999 –  Project Manager, Northern Electric plc., United Kingdom, a regional energy company.

2001 -  2003 – held various positions at Oskol Electro Metallurgy Steel Mill – from Leading Expert to Head of Special Steels Sales Division of the Export Sales Department.   

From 2003  – Head of Department for Strategic Development and Energy Saving in Metallurgy of the Ministry for Industry, Science and Technology of the Russian Federation.

From 2005   – Deputy General Manager for Trade Policy and Government Relations of Gazmetallproekt OOO; Adviser on Trade Policy to Managing Director of Oskol Electro Metallurgy Steel Mill.
From 2006  – Vice President, Government Relations, The PBN Company, Moscow Office.

From April 2008 –  Corporate Affairs Director, Alcoa Russia, Moscow.

From August 2008 – Chairman of the Board of Directors, Alcoa Metallurg Rus (former Belaya Kalitva Metallurgical Production Association), City of Belaya Kalitva, Rostov region, Russia.

In April 2009, Oleg Kalinskiy was appointed Vice-President for Corporate Affairs, Alcoa Russia .
In June 2009 was elected Member of the Board of Directors of Alcoa Metallurg Rus and Member of the Board of Directors of Alcoa SMZ .

In his present capacity Oleg Kalinskiy oversees all the internal and external communications of Alcoa Russia, including: public affairs and government relations on all levels: federal, regional and local, public and media relations, internal communications, relations with the non-governmental organizations and associations, professional unions.  He also oversees the implementation of the humanitarian programs and programs of the corporate social responsibility.

In 2008 selected as one of the 300 top best participants and managers in Russia of the All Russian Project “Professional Team of the Country – Talent Reserve” (among 71 people in the Section “Industry”).  N.B.: Total number of people having participated in the project is over 18000 people.
 
In 2007 was one of the 83 winners in the whole Russia of the Project “Professional Team of the Country” in the Section “Industries and Services”.
 
Member of the Management Committee of the All-Russian Union of Employers “Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs”.
 
Co-founder, Member of the Federal Presidium and Management Committee of the Association of the Young Entrepreneurs of the Russian Federation.
