Anthony Farraj was born in Iowa, USA in 1964.

Graduated from the University of Iowa in 1986 with Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Relations and Human Resources. December, 2002 graduated with M.B.A. from University of Tennessee Knoxville, TN.

Began career in Human Resources in 1986 with Cargill, Inc.  Spent thirteen years with Cargill in various corporate, plant, and B.U. H.R. positions across mini-mill steel, fertilizer production, and financial trading industries.  Last position was Global VP HR for Cargill’s Financial Markets business unit based in Minnetonka, MN.

Tony joined Alcoa’s Rigid Packaging Division (RPD) in 1999 to lead H.R.  Spent eight years in H.R. and Commercial leader roles with RPD in Knoxville, TN prior to joining Alcoa Russia in December, 2007.

1999 to 2001: Vice President Human Resources, RPD.

2001 to 2003: Vice President Human Resources and Environment, Health and Safety, RPD.

2003 to 2007: Commercial Vice President RPD.

Summer, 2007: Conducted can stock strategy study for Alcoa Russia to assess and advise the profitability plan for this strategic market segment.

2008 to Present: Commercial Vice President Alcoa Russia.
