Alcoa has been active in the Netherlands since 1967. As of 1989, Alcoa's activities are bundled in the Alcoa Nederland B.V. With offices in Waalwijk and manufacturing facilities in Harderwijk, Alcoa provides innovative products and solutions to customers in the automotive, commercial transportation, building and construction and industrial markets. Alcoa Architectuursystemen (architectural systems) in Harderwijk designs, develops and sells aluminium systems for windows, doors, sliding doors, conservatories and facades. A wide range in designs, color and surface treatments offers a large degree of freedom.
