You can expect to fine-tune your project management skills, as well as demonstrate your technical capabilities. Most of our entry-level engineers move to senior engineer status. At this point in your career, your options expand with opportunities to move into other areas of our business-technical supervision, sales, marketing or procurement. You can also continue to expand your technical skills within the engineering department. Movement between supervisory and technical career positions can occur at many levels.

Why Alcoa Engineering Is Different We believe learning through "hands-on" experience gives our employees the best perspective on our business-and helps them achieve their personal career goals.  Entry-level engineers are teamed up with a senior engineer who serves as a mentor-giving you the chance to tap into their insight and experience. In addition, our engineers are encouraged to take 80 hours of training and take advantage of Alcoa's generous tuition aid program.
