Alcoa produces slits coils from 10 to 1500 mm wide in an extensive range of alloys and tempers. To help our customers reduce their processing costs, the rolled surface condition can be lightly oiled or chemically degreased. The latter is of great benefit in applications such as the production of multi-layer tubes, car licence plates and road signs. Furthermore, other characteristics can be optimised to suit the fabrication of finished parts or their final application; for example, the provision of deep drawing properties where high formability is required.
