Alcoa European Mill Products announces further increases for January deliveries on conversion prices

Geneva, Switzerland – November 3rd, 2009 - Alcoa European Mill Products (EMP) announces today with immediate effect a further price increase on its conversion prices for all mill finish Commercial Rolled Products produced in their European operations Köfém/Hungary, Fusina/Italy and Amorebieta/Spain. This announcement follows an earlier price increase published on EMP website www.alcoa.com/emp in mid of October.

  • Deliveries to mainland Europe: for all orders placed on or after Nov 3rd, 2009 a 15 €/MT increase on the base conversion revenue of December 2009 is effective for January 2010 deliveries.
  • Deliveries to the United Kingdom: for all orders placed on or after Nov 3rd, 2009 pricing will be set in line with currency development and mainland Europe conditions.
 
All existing orders and binding agreements confirmed before November 3rd, 2009 will be honored.
