Geneva, Switzerland – October 16th, 2009 - Alcoa European Mill Products (EMP) announces today a price increase for all mill finish commercial rolled products for all market segments.

Alcoa EMP is announcing with immediate effect an increase on its conversion prices for Commercial Rolled Products produced in their operations Köfém/Hungary, Fusina/Italy and Amorebieta/Spain. Deliveries to mainland Europe: for all new November orders placed on or after Oct 16th, 2009 a 20 €/MT increase on the base conversion revenue of October is effective for November deliveries. For December deliveries an additional 20 €/MT increase is applied. Deliveries to the United Kingdom: for all new November orders placed on or after Oct 16th, 2009 a 40 GBP/MT increase on the base conversion revenue October is effective for November deliveries on top of earlier implemented 15% increase on October. For December deliveries an additional 20 GBP/MT increase is applied. All existing orders and binding agreements confirmed before October 16th, 2009 will be honored. Pricing for deliveries to the distribution segment in 2010 will be set on a month by month basis and so announced soon for January.
