Educational Leadership Award

Ruby Glasscock, Manager, Human Resource at Morristown, Tennessee, business, accepts the Educational Leadership Award from Max Biery, who is affiliated with the Hamblem County educational program. Alcoa was honored for its contributions to advance education in the county.

Alcoa Power & Propulsions' Howmet Castings plant in Morristown, Tennessee (USA) received the Educational Leadership Award from the local county for its contributions to advance education in the area. Ruby Glasscock, manager, Human Resources, accepted the award on behalf of Alcoa. Ruby was instrumental in coordinating Alcoa Foundation grants geared to educational development and redesign of curriculum at several schools in Hamblen County. Glasscock also participates in several community organizations that focus on preparing students for secondary and post-secondary education.
