National Job Safety Award

The health and safety of the people who work in the complex in the primary internal goal, which is expressed in the implementation of the safest known practices and in the commitment to the safety of all the workers. The San Ciprián center, like the rest of the Alcoa plants in Spain, has accident ratios 38 times lower than those of the industrial sector and 58 times lower than those of the metallurgical sector to which it belongs. These achievements, as well as effective and innovative procedures that the company applies, have been recognized this year with the National Job Safety Award of the National Benefits Association.
