Alcoa Wheel Products Mexico (AWPM) is a manufacturing facility located 80 miles from the border of Laredo, Texas, in Ciénega de Flores, Nuevo León, México. The plant is part of Alcoa, a worldwide production leader of aluminum and alumina.
Our products are designed and approved by Alcoa Wheel Products International (AWPI) located in Cleveland, Ohio, USA, and meet the common standards of the heavy and light trucks and automotive industries as well as Federal Safety Standards for Motor Vehicles. Our products will be primarily distributed to various locations within the US, Latin America and Mexico.
All of this is based on a strong quality system certified with ISO/TS 16949 with continuous improvements after each surveillance audit, strong customer focus, superior environmental, health and safety practices, and employee involvement programs. |
