Components for Aircraft Jet Engines
The basic structure and function of a jet engine do not greatly differ from those of a power generation gas turbine.
Jet engines thus contain turbine blades and vanes very similar to those used in a gas turbine.
Gas turbines are also used in high speed merchant ships and warships.
Precision cast products are also used for the following:
- Turbocharger impellors for automobiles.
- H2A Rocket engine structural parts (LE7, LE5)
- Structural aircraft components
