 From Kansai airport(KIX)
For visitors arriving at Kansai-airport(KIX).
  • Take the Haruka Express from the airport to Kyoto station - journey time 1 hour.

By train from Kyoto to Howmet Japan
  • From Kyoto, take the JR Express "Thunderbird" on the Hokuriku line to Komatsu - journey time approx 2 hours.
  • Howmet Japan is a 12 minute (8km) taxi ride from Komatsu station.

By road from Kyoto to Howmet Japan
  • Join the Meishin Expressway eastbound at Kyoto South interchange.
  • Take the Hokuriku Expressway from Maibara Junction to the Komatsu interchange.
  • Howmet Japan is a 13 minute (9km) drive from the Komatsu interchange. (Total 210 km, approx. 2 hours)

From Tokyo area
For visitors arriving at Tokyo International Airport (Narita).
Narita-Komatsu direct flight takes about 1 hour (One service a day)
 
Using Haneda Airport
 
  • Take the Airport Limousine bus to Haneda Airport - journey time approx 1.5 hours.
  • The flight from Haneda Airport to Komatsu takes about 1 hour.
