Located in the south cost of Sardinia, the Portovesme smelter produces 150,000 metric tons of aluminum annually in the form of alloy ingots, billets and slabs. The Portovesme Smelter is certified ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001:2004 for the production of primary aluminum and its alloys by the process of electrolysis.  The facility also manufactures anodes.
