Bohai Safety Milestone
The Alcoa Bohai construction project in Qinhuangdao, China celebrated 500,000 safe work hours last month. The milestone is significant in displaying both Alcoa's and engineering and construction contractor CH2M HILL's resolve to maintain a safe work site.

Watching Over China's Birds
Alcoa Bohai (China) volunteers and family members helped measure and band cranes, hawks, owls and other birds and then release them to the wild at Qinhuangdao Beidaihe, the largest wetland in China and haven for bird watchers, as part of its Month of Service activities.
