Alcoa Kunshan Aluminum Products Co., Ltd was established April 24th, 2006. The greenfield plant was started in 2003, and commercial production began in January 2006. It produces heat exchanger materials for automotive and other industrial HVAC applications and complementary common alloy products. The designed capacity is 50,000MT per annum. As a part of Alcoa's global manufacturing system, Alcoa Kunshan plant is pairing Alcoa's global resources with the ABS (Alcoa Business System) philosophy to supply customers with world-class quality products and technical support.
With a Research and Development center dedicated to the heat exchanger materials market, and global production capabilities, Alcoa can provide leading edge materials anywhere in the world, with the technical support and customer focus needed to help meet the HVAC and engine cooling challenges of tomorrow.
