Alcoa in Italy was opened in 1967 in Milan as commercial office for the management of the sales of U.S. and European produced material to the customers in Italy and in the Mediterranean basin countries.


Following the acquisition in 1996 of the state-owned company ALUMIX (EFIM group), Alcoa – with headquarters in Milan - now consists of 2 production units of flat/rolled products located in Fusina (Venice) and of primary aluminum in Portovesme (Sardinia), as well as commercial and administrative offices.
