Alcoa Primary Metals is one of the largest suppliers of Aluminum Rod products in North America. With an annual pure rod rated capacity of 110,000 metric tons, Alcoa Primary Metals has two rod manufacturing locations in Quebec Canada. Equipped with a state-of-the-art, fully automated continuous Properzi rod casting and rolling system, the plants produce high-quality rod intended mainly for electrical cable manufacturers and steel mills. The rod is prepared, cast, rolled and shipped specifically to meet each customer’s particular needs.
