Record-breaking profit at Alcoa.
Alcoa, which owns Alcoa Fjarðaál in Reyðarfjörður, achieved record results in revenues, income from continuing operations and cash from operations for the full year 2007.
The company’s profit reached all-time records last year. Revenues for 2007 were $30.7 billion and cash from operations were $3.1 billion. That is also a record in the company’s history.
