Alcoa Howmet's casting facility in LaPorte is a leading producer of integral compressor and turbine investment castings for the aerospace industry. The casting facility specializes in the casting of superalloy compressor stators, integral turbine vane rings, integral turbine rotors and medium-size structural components for aero turbine engines, as well as industrial gas turbine vane segments. The facility has been located in LaPorte, Indiana, since 1957 where it occupies more than 200,000 square feet of manufacturing space.
