The Winsted facility is GQS and ISO9002 certified and contains 81,000 square feet.  This operation has 25 years' experience in this location (29 years' experience overall) machining complex shapes to exacting standards.  It also has an established track record of managing developmental, derivative, and mature-engine programs.  Alcoa Howmet's machining operation is uniquely qualified to satisfy customers' needs for engine-ready components.
