Cold Finished Aluminum Bar

Aluminum bar as defined by the Aluminum Association is a solid wrought product that is long in length in relation to its small cross sectional dimensions, for which the greatest perpendicular distance between parallel faces is not less than 0.375 inch. The cross sectional shape may be:
- square, or rectangular (excluding plate and flattened wire) with sharp or rounded corners or edges, or
- a regular hexagon or octagon.

Aluminum bar brought to final dimensions by cold working to obtain improved surface finish and dimensional tolerances.
