Alcoa-backed venture constructing water treatment facilities in Kamsar

CBG, a bauxite company in which Alcoa has an interest, is constructing a waste water treatment plant to provide improved sanitation for CBG facilities and housing in the city of Kamsar. The sewage collection and treatment system will serve approximately 25,000 employees of CBG in Kamsar and their families. Construction of the waste water facility began in 2002 and should be completed in the second half of 2003.
