MD Threaded Pin Fasteners
Boeing/MD Threaded Fasteners
MD Pins are threaded fasteners designed for interference fit applications. The fasteners are 6Al-4V Titanium alloy at 95 ksi shear strength. The procurement requirements are per NAS4004. Fastener descriptions as listed below.
- S4931917 100º Flush crown head, available 3/16 through 1/2 inch diameters.
- S4931918 Flat protruding head, available 3/16 & 1/4 inch diameters.
- S4931919 100º Flush crown shear head, available 3/16 through 1/2 inch diameters.
- S4931920 Protruding head, available 3/16 through 1/2 inch diameters.
Also available as Lightweight MD pins with internal wrenching capability for interference or transition fit applications. The fasteners are 6Al-4V Titanium alloy at 95 ksi shear strength. The procurement requirements are per Boeing/Douglas specification 23D0009. Fastener descriptions as listed below.
- 3D0097 100º Flush crown head, available 5/32 through 5/8 inch diameters.
- 3D0098 100º Flush crown shear head, available 5/32 through 5/8 inch diameters.
- 3D0099 Protruding head, available 5/32 through 5/8 inch diameters.
