1. The fastener is inserted into a prepared hole of the proper thickness. The installation tool is placed over the exposed spindle and bears on the locking collar of the fastener. The tool is actuated to begin the pulling action.
2. Continued pull causes the head of the spindle to upset the sleeve and begin to form the blind side head.
3. As the blind side is formed the spindle is positioned so the nose assembly on the installation tool can drive the locking collar into the conical space between the recess in the sleeve and locking groove on the spindle. This locks the components firmly together.
Total installation cycle is less than 2 seconds
