Stephen Selkowitz has 30 years of experience in the field of building energy performance, with an emphasis on research, development and deployment of energy efficient technologies and design practices. He is currently Head of the Building Technologies Department at LBNL, where his responsibilities include management and technical oversight of 80 researchers in five major R&D activities: Windows and Daylighting, Lighting Systems, Commercial Building Systems, Building Simulation Research and Demand Response Research. He is a member of the board of directors of the National Fenestration Rating Council and a past board member and co-chair of the buildingSMART Alliance to promote the use of BIM.

Eddie Bugg is responsible for positioning Kawneer as the industry leader for sustainable building products and solutions. Kawneer is part of Alcoa’s Building and Construction Systems business, which manufactures and markets architectural systems and products worldwide. Eddie was recently elected chairman of the U.S. Aluminum Association’s newly formed Building and Construction Committee. The group will work to aid sustainability messaging to promote aluminum as the material of choice for sustainable building and construction. For more than 100 years, Kawneer has been considered a leader in architectural aluminum building products and systems for commercial construction.
