Reynolds Consumer Products and Presto Products Voted ''Best in Class'' by Retailers

RICHMOND, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 2, 2003--Alcoa is pleased to announce that two of the businesses within its Alcoa Consumer Products business unit, Reynolds Consumer Products and Presto Products, were the recipients of the 2003 Category Colonel award by PLBuyer magazine, the leading publication for the private label market. Reynolds Consumer Products was recognized for its private label aluminum foil, and Presto Products for its private label food/trash bags and plastic storage products. The two businesses were recognized by the publication's retail readers from every segment of the industry including food, drug and grocery as "Best in Class." This is the second year in a row that Presto Products was recognized with this award.

Those honored with the award exhibit an overall commitment to private label product quality, knowledge of the industry, and partnering with retailers to drive store brand volume, profits and competitive differentiation.
