The Industrial Peace Prize is given to an employer that has achieved productivity improvements through a cooperative labor relationship and positive company culture.

The award was presented to Chang-Mo Sung, CPE plant manager, by the Province’s Governor DuKwan Kim. “I am honored to accept this award on behalf of the employees of Changwon Precision Extrusions,” said Mr. Sung.”I am proud of our employees who play an active role in our neighborhoods, and also for their dedication to create an open, high-performing work culture.”

CPE is one of six extrusion facilities in the Alcoa Forgings and Extrusions business unit. It serves customers throughout Asia and the U.S. in the aerospace, military and industrial markets. CPE was created in 2002 following Alcoa’s acquisition of Dooray Air Metals Company of Changwon.
