Alcoa Named to Dow Jones Sustainability Index for Seventh Consecutive Year
NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Alcoa (NYSE:AA) announced today that it has been selected as a component
of the North American Dow Jones Sustainability Index. The inclusion in
the index marks the seventh year in a row that Alcoa has been a part of
the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices. It is an important guide for
investors to assess a company’s non-financial
performance. Selection is based on an analysis of a company’s
economic, environmental and social performance. Issues evaluated include
risk management, branding, climate change mitigation, supply chain
standards and labor practices.
