Alcoa Selected Again for Dow Jones Sustainability Indexes

PITTSBURGH--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 6, 2006--Alcoa (NYSE:AA) announced today that it has been chosen again as a component of the Dow Jones Sustainability Index family. Selection is based on a thorough assessment of a company's economic, environmental and social performance. This is the fifth time Alcoa has been named a member of the index.
